A lot has shipped in WealthFluent since our last update. Two of the features are big enough that they get their own deep-dive post, and we link to it below. The rest are smaller, but a few of them fix things that were quietly skewing your plan.
Here is the list: a Refinance Check for your loans, a 12-month dividend and income calendar, new data quality checks, a clearer cash flow view, a new Household Spending widget, a new way to get support, and manual holdings for assets we have no market data for.
Refinance Check: your mortgage at today’s rate
Most refinance calculators compare monthly payments. A lower payment can still leave you worse off once closing costs are in. Refinance Check looks at it from your net worth instead.
It values each fixed-rate mortgage and auto loan at today’s market rate. Then it shows what refinancing would add to or take from your net worth after closing costs, based on how long you expect to keep the loan. For a mortgage, the default is seven years.
Here is one example. A mortgage at 3.00% with a $338,456 balance is worth $225,142 when you discount it at today’s 7.35% market rate. That is $113,314 less than the balance. Refinancing that loan would cost $6,800 at closing, and the widget shows that it never earns the cost back.
The widget also has an interest-rate panel. In this example the loan has a duration of 8.5 years, so a one-point fall in mortgage rates raises its market value by about $19,055. It lines the loan up against your bond and cash holdings so you can see both sides of the same rate move.
You can change the assumptions to match your situation:
- Pick a credit score range for mortgages: 740 and up, 680 to 739, or below 680. WealthFluent saves your pick.
- Enter points or a lender credit. Both count in the costs and in the break-even rate.
- Change the new loan’s term. It opens on the term your loan started with.
- Type in your own quote. None of it changes your account.
If your rate is already below today’s market, the widget says so and treats it as good news. Loans it can’t check, like home equity lines and variable-rate loans, are listed with the reason instead of disappearing. If your mortgage’s own terms would make refinancing worthwhile at today’s rates, WealthFluent alerts you in the app.
Mortgage rates come from Zillow’s average refinance rates. For auto loans, you enter a quote. For the full walkthrough, read Refinance Check: What Is Your Mortgage Rate Really Worth?
Dividend & Investment Income Calendar
The new calendar on your Home page shows what your investments are projected to pay over the next 12 months. It covers dividends and fund distributions, bond and CD coupons, and interest on cash accounts with a known rate. Pensions, annuities and Social Security show up once they have started paying.
In the example below, the next 12 months add up to $16,809, a projected yield of 1.45%. The monthly average is $1,401, but the months are not even. December 2026 projects $3,391.54 and January 2027 projects $73.07.
You can switch between five views: Months, Accounts, Holdings, Calendar and Received. Months shows each month’s payments with ex-dividend and pay dates, plus your 12-month total and projected yield. Calendar lays the dates out on a month grid. Received shows what your connected accounts actually paid you over the last 12 months. It is visible to the account owner and to members with transactions permission, and manual accounts keep no transactions.
Declared dividends are shown as declared. For everything else, the calendar repeats each holding’s latest regular dividend on last year’s dates, so treat the projections as estimates, not promises. If a holding has no stored dividend history yet, the calendar estimates it from its latest dividend and labels it “estimated”. The “?” icons explain terms like ex-dividend date and projected yield.
Want it in your inbox? Turn on the Monthly Dividend & Investment Income Summary under the widget or in Email Preferences. It is off until you turn it on. The calendar is part of Planning, which comes with Essentials and above.

New data quality checks
In June we added the Data Quality list to your task manager. It flagged accounts and holdings the plan can’t classify or price. It now catches more:
- Accounts with no owner, or an owner who is no longer in your household.
- Investment accounts with no tax status. Until you set one, WealthFluent treats the account as taxable, which can understate a retirement account.
- Taxable holdings with no cost basis, so gains and losses can’t be shown.
- Holdings with a blank or unknown security type.
- Household members with no birthday.
- Retirement goals with no account or dollar amount set aside. Without one, the plan funds the whole goal from new savings.
Each check is explained on the Data Quality page. Buttons like Set owner and Set savings take you straight to the field to fix. These matter because a plan is only as good as the data under it. An account with the wrong tax status or a missing birthday changes the numbers, and you would not see why. The first round of checks is covered in What’s New in WealthFluent: Catch the Data Errors That Skew Your Plan.
Cash flow and spending
The monthly cash flow view now splits the month into wage income and spending, your investment portfolio, and the change in net worth. When spending runs ahead of take-home pay, it shows take-home pay against living expenses and savings. It also explains why net income can still look positive.
Planning has a new Household Spending widget. It shows what your plan spends each month or over the next 12 months: living costs, loans, property, premiums and taxes. You now enter current spending once, on your retirement goals, instead of in two places.
Support inside WealthFluent
Support is now in the top navigation, and Contact support is in your profile menu. Start with Magpie. Magpie can help diagnose the issue and submit the support ticket for you. You can also fill out the form yourself. Your cases lists every case you have opened.
Manual holdings we have no market data for
You can now add holdings we have no market data for to a manual investment account: a bond or CD by CUSIP, a private stock, or a cash-like fund. They count in your allocation and your plan instead of landing in Holdings We Can’t Classify.
Where to find everything
- Refinance Check: the Financial Health page.
- Income Calendar: the bottom of the right column on your Home page.
- Data Quality: your task manager.
- Cash flow view and Household Spending: the cash flow view and Planning.
- Support: the top navigation, or Contact support in your profile menu.
Open each one once. Several of them depend on details you entered a while ago, and these tools show you which ones are missing.
Everything in one place
Every one of these updates serves the same goal: your whole financial picture in one place, with the details that give each number its meaning. A loan carries a rate. A holding carries a payment schedule. An account carries a tax status. Leave one of those blank and the total is off. Ellen G., a retiree, describes what that gives her:
“WealthFluent helps give me the confidence I need to manage my own investments with up to date access to my entire wealth portfolio and financial information!”

Refinance Check is an educational valuation in today’s dollars, not a lender’s quote. It leaves out taxes, escrow, prepayment penalties and the tax treatment of interest. Income projections are estimates based on declared and past dividends and are not promises.
